摘要

本文综述了棉子含油量的遗传特性、棉子含油量与棉纤维产量和品质性状间的关系,讨论了我国开展高油棉花育种的必要性和可行性,为开展高油棉花种质资源筛选与创新应用研究提供参考。

Abstract

Cottonseed is an important byproduct with abundant fat and protein. The present review focused on research about genetic characters of oil content in cottonseed, correlation between oil content and fiber yield and qualities. The feasibility of developing high oil content breeding in cottonseed was also discussed.
