Abstract£ºSeven lines of transgenic cotton (Lumianyan 19) with the exogenous BetA/als were analyzed for the agronomy traits. The result showed that the introduction of exogenous BetA/als resulted in different effect on the agronomic traits, and the variation coefficients of the traits increased. There were no significant differences between the transgenic lines (7-15¡¢14-1) and the control on boll number per plant, boll volume, fruit stem length, angle of fruit stem, lint percentage, seed index, 2.5% span length and fiber strength; weight of seed cotton per boll, seed cotton yield and lint cotton yield were all increased while micronaire value was descended. Both of the two transgenic lines (7-15¡¢14-1) retained the good agronomic traits, so they could be used as donors of exogenous BetA/als for the seed breeding.
