Abstract£ºForeign genes (Bt-CpTI-GNA) resistant to cotton insects were introduced into conventional cotton cultivars by Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation. Regenerated plants have been obtained. The results of molecular detection indicated that the foreign genes had been transferred into cotton plants. The results of PCR molecular detection£¬ marker genes and foreign target-gene with insect-resistance were quite regular. Some of their progenies' segregation coincided with Mendel's regularity of segregation£¬but some deviated. This phenomenon may be due to ¡°gene silence¡±.
